The Coorg Mountain Escape package was absolutely flawless. We drove through misty roads, visited the Abbey Falls early morning, and the coffee plantation tour was an experience like no other. Our homestay had incredible valley views and the campfire on night one set the tone perfectly. The Dubare Elephant Camp was the cherry on top!
Booked the Hampi Heritage Trail for our anniversary and it exceeded all expectations. Watching sunrise at Hemakuta Hill, the ancient Vittala Temple, and riding a coracle on the Tungabhadra — I still can't believe such a place exists in Karnataka. TravIshta handled everything seamlessly. Our guide was deeply knowledgeable about Vijayanagara history.
This was our first trip through TravIshta and it set the bar impossibly high. Staying at the coffee estate, waking up to fog over the hills, trekking up Mullayanagiri — the highest peak in Karnataka — was surreal. Baba Budan Giri has a spiritual energy I wasn't expecting, and Hebbe Falls at the end of a jeep trail was a total surprise.
I needed a proper break and the Wayanad Forest Retreat delivered just that. The jungle resort stay was immersive — we could hear animals at night! The Edakkal Caves trek was challenging but worth it for those prehistoric rock carvings. Kuruva Island boating was the most peaceful moment of the trip. Lost one star only because Day 3 safari started late.
I've seen photos of Munnar a hundred times but nothing prepared me for seeing those rolling green tea carpets in person. The Munnar Tea Gardens package had a perfect balance — the Tea Museum in the morning, Mattupetty Dam boating in the afternoon, and then Echo Point where the valley literally echoes back at you. Eravikulam National Park was a bonus I didn't expect to enjoy so much!
Took the family for the Ooty Botanical Haven package and everyone loved it. The Botanical Garden was a stunner — perfect for kids and adults alike. Doddabetta Peak gave us views we'll talk about for years. Sim's Park in Coonoor was a hidden gem. Only minor issue was that Pykara Falls was a bit dry in January but the route there was beautiful anyway.
After living in Chennai for years and only doing quick day trips to Pondy, finally booking the full Pondicherry package through TravIshta was the best decision. The difference is night and day — staying in a heritage villa in the French Quarter, cycling through those mustard-yellow colonial streets at dawn before the tourist rush, and the Promenade beach at golden hour made us feel like we were in another country entirely. The boat ride at Chunnambar was serene. Auroville was genuinely thought-provoking. I've sent this package link to five colleagues already.
We're from Coimbatore so hill trips are nothing new to us, but the Kodaikanal package showed us a completely different side of this destination. Instead of the usual touristy rush, TravIshta had us at Pillar Rocks at 6 AM before the fog lifted — completely deserted and magical. Bear Shola Falls hidden in the forest felt like a discovery. Boat House on Kodai Lake in the evening light was romantic. The Green Valley View point literally took my breath away. Would easily rate this 6 stars if I could.
Flying down from Hyderabad specifically for the Hampi Heritage Trail was worth every rupee. I teach history at a college and even I was stunned by the sheer scale of Vijayanagara — you genuinely cannot appreciate it from photos alone. The guide TravIshta arranged was exceptional; he explained the astronomical alignments of the temples in a way that gave me goosebumps. The coracle ride at sunset, with those enormous boulders reflected in the Tungabhadra, is an image burned into my memory forever. My students are already asking me to organise a group trip.
Growing up in Kochi, I always thought I knew Kerala well. The Munnar Tea Gardens package humbled me completely. Watching tea leaves being processed at the KDHP Tea Museum was fascinating — we actually tasted 11 varieties. Mattupetty Dam in the misty morning felt like Scotland. The Neelakurinji blooming season timing the team arranged was impeccable. Only small gripe: one of our vehicles had a slight AC issue on Day 2 which was resolved by evening. Everything else was absolutely top-notch and I'm already planning a return for the winter.
Flying in from Pune with no idea about Karnataka roads, I was nervous about logistics. TravIshta made everything seamless — airport pickup, the entire Coorg Mountain Escape package, and drop back was perfectly coordinated. The Talakaveri source of the Cauvery river hit differently knowing how important that river is to the whole region. Our driver Raju was a local Coorgian who shared stories about Kodava culture that no guidebook covers. The estate bungalow we stayed in had a fireplace — absolute bliss in the December chill. Coorg is now permanently on my annual list.
2024 was exhausting and I needed something restorative. Booking the Chikmagalur Coffee Bliss package from Vijayawada on a whim was the single best thing I did for myself that year. Waking up at 5 AM to the smell of coffee blossoms, mist rolling over the hills, no phone signal — pure therapeutic silence. The Mullayanagiri trek to the summit was tough but the 360-degree view made every step worthwhile. Our homestay hosts cooked authentic Malnad cuisine every evening and refused to let us leave without packing kodubale snacks for the journey home.
Being from Ahmedabad, South India always felt distant and unfamiliar. The Wayanad Forest Retreat was recommended by a colleague and I'm forever grateful. The biodiversity in a single day here exceeds anything I've experienced anywhere in the country. Edakkal Caves blew my mind — 6,000-year-old carvings on a cliff face above the treetops. Kuruva Island boating with the shallow rapids and rare hornbills overhead was surreal. The Kerala sadya breakfast at our resort every morning was life-changing. Already planning Coorg next with TravIshta.
Most people avoid Ooty in July but we took the Ooty Botanical Haven package during peak monsoon and it was a revelation. Everything is lush green, the crowds are thin, and the Nilgiri Mountain Railway in the rain is the most romantic thing I've experienced. From Madurai the drive up via Mettupalayam is gorgeous. The Botanical Garden had rare orchids in bloom. Doddabetta Peak was hidden in clouds but that itself felt magical — we were literally inside a cloud. TravIshta booked us into a heritage bungalow that was straight out of a 1960s film.
Seven of us came down from Delhi for the Hampi Heritage Trail and not a single person was underwhelmed. We Delhiites are used to Mughal monuments but Hampi is something entirely different — a Hindu empire frozen in time across an alien boulder landscape. The scale is incomprehensible until you're standing in the middle of it. TravIshta's coordination was impressive given the group size. Small deduction: the check-in at one property was delayed by an hour. But the itinerary, vehicles, and guide knowledge were outstanding. Already discussing Wayanad for next time.
As a Keralite living in Thrissur, I always dismissed the backwaters as a tourist gimmick. My sister convinced me to try the TravIshta Alleppey Backwaters package and I'll be apologising to every tourist I ever silently judged. Drifting on a private houseboat through narrow canals, watching village life go by at walking pace, the chef making karimeen pollichathu right on board, anchoring in the middle of Vembanad Lake as the Milky Way appeared overhead — it's a completely different relationship with Kerala than living here gives you. Magnificent package.
Three hours from Bengaluru and you're in a completely different world. The Dandeli Adventure package delivered exactly the adrenaline I was craving — white-water rafting on the Kali River, a night jungle camping session where we actually heard a leopard in the distance, and a kayaking session that challenged every member of our group of four. The coracle ride through the mangroves on Day 2 was surprisingly tranquil after all the action. TravIshta's activity coordination was seamless — transitions between spots were well-timed. Easily the best corporate team-outing destination from Bengaluru.
Coming from Tirupati, where grand temple architecture is everyday, I expected Mysuru to be just another cultural stop. The Mysuru Heritage package showed me how wrong I was. The Mysore Palace illuminated at night with 97,000 bulbs is genuinely one of the most spectacular sights in India — nothing prepares you for that first view. St. Philomena's Cathedral was unexpectedly moving. The flower market at Devaraja had colours and fragrances I've dreamed about since. Chamundi Hill at sunrise before the pilgrims arrive felt sacred in its own quiet way. Outstanding itinerary.
I had high expectations for the Sakleshpur package and the destination itself delivered — the Manjarabad Fort trek through spice plantations was stunning and the coffee estate homestay was wonderfully rustic. But the coordination had issues. Our vehicle arrived 90 minutes late on Day 1, and one meal arrangement was completely missed. For someone driving up from Dharwad specifically for this experience, those hiccups mattered. TravIshta's support line resolved complaints promptly and gave a partial refund which I appreciate, hence 3 stars rather than fewer. I'm told they've improved operations since — happy to try again.
The boat safari on Periyar Lake is something else entirely. We spotted wild elephants drinking right at the waterline, a herd of Gaur watching us from the treeline, and our naturalist pointed out a solitary tiger pug mark fresh in the mud near the water's edge — the closest I've ever come to a wild tiger! Travelling all the way from Vizag was absolutely worthwhile. The spice garden walk through cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon estates left us smelling amazing for days. TravIshta arranged a cultural Kalaripayattu martial arts show on our last evening — a perfect send-off.
Booked the Innova Crysta for a family of six from Coimbatore to Ooty and the experience was top-tier. The vehicle was immaculate, the driver Selvam knew every hairpin on the Kallar route and timed our ascent to arrive at Ooty before the morning tourist traffic. He proactively pointed out photo spots we'd have missed entirely. Back home in Chennai now and I'm already recommending TravIshta to cousins planning a Kodaikanal trip. The cab booking process on the app was genuinely the simplest I've used — done in under two minutes.
Just wanted a clean, affordable vehicle for a one-day family run from Mysuru to Coorg and back. The Toyota Etios booking was straightforward, the car arrived ten minutes early, and our driver Rajan was courteous and knew Coorg roads well enough to suggest we skip the Abbey Falls crowd and visit a lesser-known plantation waterfall nearby instead — best piece of advice on the whole trip. The vehicle was spotless, AC worked perfectly in the summer heat, and we were back in Mysuru by 9 PM as planned. Simple, reliable, excellent value.
Five friends from Bengaluru took the Maruti Ertiga for a Chikmagalur weekend getaway and the vehicle handled the ghat roads beautifully. Spacious, comfortable, and the driver was punctual throughout. The coffee we picked up at Peethaara Estate on the way back was worth the detour he suggested. Minor minus: the return journey had a brief 30-minute delay due to a flat tyre that was changed efficiently on the roadside. Overall a smooth experience — TravIshta's vehicle fleet quality is clearly a priority. Will definitely book again for our next hill trip.
I'm from Hubballi so Goa is technically close but our previous self-planned trips always ended up rushed and chaotic. The TravIshta Goa package was a completely different experience — heritage walk through Old Goa's UNESCO churches, a sunrise dolphin boat trip arranged before the crowds, a private Spice Farm lunch, and a curated shack dinner at a beach most tourists never find. No scrambling for cabs, no wasted hours figuring out what to do next. The heritage villa accommodation was beautiful. This is how Goa is supposed to be done. Absolutely brilliant package.
This is our third consecutive year booking the Coorg Mountain Escape with TravIshta and consistency is what separates them from others. Even though I'm from Mangaluru and can drive to Coorg in under three hours, having TravIshta handle everything — the estate accommodation, the activity bookings, the meals — means I actually get to relax rather than organise. Each year they've added something new: this time it was a sunrise hot air balloon view over the misty valleys that genuinely left us speechless. Our kids grew up on these trips. Coorg will always be home away from home.
My husband surprised me with the Munnar Tea Gardens package for our honeymoon and everything about it was romantic — the mist, the green carpets, the cool air after the Bengaluru concrete heat. The private cottage overlooking the tea estate woke us up to birdsong and fog rolling through the valley every morning. Eravikulam National Park's Nilgiri Tahr sighting was a magical bonus. I'm giving four stars rather than five only because I wish the package included one more day — two nights felt slightly short for how much Munnar has to offer. Already talking about an anniversary return with an extended itinerary.
