We meet you at Tirupati airport or railway station and drive about 40 minutes to Srikalahasti for darshan and the Rahu Ketu pooja if you want it. Lunch in Srikalahasti, then back to Tiruchanur for the goddess Padmavathi when the temple reopens in the afternoon, and check in at Tirupati. If your Tirumala darshan slot is today, we swap Day 1 and Day 2.

Srikalahasti temple and Rahu Ketu pooja
2 h 30 min hereA grand old Shiva temple on the Swarnamukhi river, known all over South India for the Rahu Ketu pooja. Darshan is free. Pooja tickets are bought at the temple counter on the day (Approx Rs 500 to Rs 2,500 by hall), and the pooja itself takes about 45 minutes. Traditional dress, and avoid black clothes. Some families follow the custom of going straight to their stay after this pooja, without visiting another temple. If you do, tell us and we move the Padmavathi temple to Day 2 or Day 3.
