Kukke Subramanya and Dharmasthala Temple Trail

Overview

A calm, well paced pilgrimage for families, older parents and anyone with a seva to complete at Kukke. A private car and our driver pick you up at home and stay with you all three days, so tolls, parking and the driver's stay are already paid. You spend the first night in Kukke Subramanya, so you can join the early morning Ashlesha Bali if you book it, then drive past the open air Sowthadka Ganapati to Dharmasthala for darshan, the free annadana lunch, the Manjusha museums and sunset at the Bahubali statue. Hotels here are simple: Kukke has no 4 or 5 star hotel, so we use the best reviewed places in each town and tell you honestly what to expect. Day 1 and Day 3 are long road days of 6 to 7 hours through the Shiradi ghat. Best from October to February. Sarpa Samskara takes two full mornings at Kukke, so if you want it, tell us and we add a second night in Kukke.
