Overview

A short, gentle trip for families, couples and anyone who wants to see Adiyogi and the Isha Yoga Center properly, not in a rushed half day. Your driver meets you at Coimbatore airport or railway station. Day 1 covers two old temples in the morning, then a long, unhurried afternoon at Isha that ends with the Adiyogi Divya Darshanam show on the statue at 7:20 PM. Day 2 is a forest morning at Kovai Kutralam falls, then lunch and your drop by mid afternoon. Best from November to February, when the days are pleasant. The honest part: Day 1 is long and ends at about 9 PM, Isha asks for modest clothes and few photos, and the falls close on Mondays and after heavy rain.

Easy

Only about 4 hours in the car on Day 1 and 3 hours on Day 2, all on city and village roads. Day 1 is long though, from 9 AM to about 9 PM, with barefoot walking on stone at Isha and steps at Marudamalai. The falls need a 1 km forest walk.
