A taste from your trip
Perur Pateeswarar Temple
An old Shiva temple with finely carved stone pillars in the Kanaka Sabha hall. It closes at 1 PM, so we go in the morning. Shoes off at the gate.
If it rains: The two temples and the Dhyanalinga and Linga Bhairavi are all under cover, so most of the day works in rain. The walk to Adiyogi is open, so carry an umbrella. The Divya Darshanam show is cancelled in rain, so if it pours we spend longer in the Dhyanalinga and head back to the city earlier.
