Mahmud Gawan Madrasa
A 15th century college built by the Bahmani minister Mahmud Gawan. One tall minaret still shows its green and yellow tiles. It sits in the old city, on the way to the fort.
If it rains: Rain is rare here outside June to September. If it pours, see the covered halls of the Rangin Mahal in Bidar Fort first and keep the open tombs at Ashtur short. The stone gets slippery, so walk slowly.
