A taste from your trip
Kemmanagundi Raj Bhavan and gardens
Terraced gardens and a viewpoint around the old Raj Bhavan guest house at about 1,400 m. It can be misty and cool even in the afternoon.
If it rains: Kemmanagundi is often lost in cloud in the rain. Skip the Z Point walk, which gets slippery, and spend a short time at the Raj Bhavan gardens instead, then head to Chikmagalur early for coffee in town.
