A taste from your trip
Sunrise at Nandi Hills
Your car climbs the 8 km hill road as soon as the gate opens and parks at the top. Walk to the western and eastern view points for the sunrise and, on lucky winter and monsoon mornings, a sea of clouds below you. We cover the entry ticket.
If it rains: Rain and cloud often hide the sunrise, but walking through mist on the hill top is lovely in itself. Carry an umbrella, take care on the wet rock near Tipu's Drop and skip the cliff edge if it is slippery. The Skandagiri trek is not safe in heavy rain, so keep to the hill top. The Bhoga Nandeeshwara temple has covered halls, so you can still enjoy it in a shower.
