Overview

A short, great value weekend from Bengaluru for families and first timers. Your private car and driver pick you up from home, drive the new expressway and stay with you for both days, so tolls, parking and driver charges are already paid. Day 1 covers Tipu's Srirangapatna, a boat ride among nesting birds at Ranganathittu, the inside of Mysuru Palace and the Brindavan Gardens fountain at night. Day 2 starts on Chamundi Hills and ends at the carved Hoysala temple of Somnathpur before the drive home. Mysuru Palace is lit up only on Sundays and public holidays, 7 to 7:45 PM, so start your trip on a Sunday or holiday if you want to see it, and we swap Brindavan for the palace lights that night. Best from October to February.
