A taste from your trip
Drive through Bandipur and Mudumalai
About 35 km of forest road between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Watch for deer, peacocks and elephants. Stopping, getting out or feeding animals is not allowed. Your Nilgiris e-pass is checked at the Tamil Nadu border; we arrange it before the trip.
If it rains: The forest drive works in rain, and the elephant camp is easy to see from the path. The bus safari may stop in heavy rain, as the Forest Department decides. If it does, keep your ticket money for the morning round and rest at the resort.
