Up the 70 hairpin bends to Solakkadu
The road from Karavalli climbs through 70 numbered hairpin bends. Your driver takes it slowly. At the top, Solakkadu has roadside fruit stalls with jackfruit, pineapple and honey.
If it rains: Rain makes the hairpin road slow, so we skip the fruit stop if needed and drive straight up. The Botanical Garden is fine in light rain. If mist hides Seekuparai, we wait a little, and if it does not clear we go to the hotel early.
