Kodaikanal Lakes, Pillars and Misty Hills

Overview

A relaxed 4 day hill break for families, couples and friends who want cool air and green views. A private car and our driver pick you up from home and stay with you the whole trip, so tolls, parking and driver charges are already paid. You stay all three nights in Kodaikanal, so you unpack once and spend two full days on the sights: Coaker's Walk, Bryant Park, Pillar Rocks, Guna Caves and Pine Forest on one day, and Kurinji Andavar Temple, Poombarai village and the lake on the next. The honest part: Kodaikanal is about 465 km from Bengaluru, so the first and last days are long, about 9 hours on the road plus meal stops, and the last 65 km are a hill road with many bends. Best from December to March, when days are clear and nights are cold. Some forest sites close at short notice for wild elephant activity or weather, and we swap in another sight on the day if that happens.
