A taste from your trip
Courtallam Main Falls (Peraruvi)
The biggest of the Courtallam falls, right in town, with separate bathing areas for men and women. Free. Bathe in old clothes and carry a change. If the police have closed bathing because of high water, you can still watch from the railing.
If it rains: Light rain is part of the fun at Courtallam, and the Main falls get fuller. If the police close bathing because the water is too strong, watch the falls from the railing and spend more time at the Kasi Viswanathar temple, which is covered.
