Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal
The 1636 palace of King Thirumalai Nayak, with giant white pillars and painted domes. Open 9 AM to 5 PM. Entry ticket included.
If it rains: Rain hardly spoils this day. The Nayakkar palace halls, the Gandhi museum and the Meenakshi temple corridors are mostly covered. Keep an umbrella for the walk from the car.
