Srikanteshwara Temple, Nanjangud
A huge old Shiva temple on the Kapila river, with a tall gopura. Shoes off, shoulders and knees covered. Darshan is free.
If it rains: The Nanjangud temple is covered, so it works in any weather. Safaris may stop in heavy rain, as the Forest Department decides. If yours is cancelled, rest at the resort and ask about the evening wildlife film.
